LOW IMPACT lIVING

Under the overarching theme of ‘Low Impact Living,’ KLEFF 2023 is on a mission to “Normalize Low-Impact Living.” We believe that sustainability starts with each one of us. It’s about the choices we make, the habits we cultivate, and the mindsets we adopt.

Are there too many of us

– for earth to sustain?

In a world with a growing population of over 8 billion, our collective efforts hold immense potential. We’re rallying together to champion sustainability and tackle the critical issues of our time.

After all, how can we build a world
where all 8 billion of us can live happily ever after?

Mark your calendars and prepare for a digital festival like no other. Join us on this incredible journey of exploration, enlightenment, and empowerment.

Together, we’ll embark on the ‘Low Impact Living’ journey to create a sustainable future for all.

The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival (KLEFF) is Malaysia’s first and longest-serving platform promoting sustainable living through showcases of environmentally-themed films and programs. Since 2008, KLEFF’s mission is to accelerate mainstreaming of sustainable living and stewardship of the environment through the power of audio visual materials and activities.

During the festival, KLEFF hosts the screening of more than 50 films reaching to an audience of more than 5,000. With the collaboration of partners and sponsors, KLEFF is gradually becoming the nation’s celebrated grassroots cultural and environmental event.

The Kuala Lumpur Eco Film Festival is a not-for-profit program organized by local environmental NGO, EcoKnights.
