In the last one month, we have gone to another three universities for our roadshows. The purpose of this roadshow is not only to communicate and share about KLEFF, but at the same time organise a compact film making workshop with our film making & media partner, Stranger Connection Media (SCM) as well as introducing two special categories for this year’s competition, brought to you by River of Life (ROL) and Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). The roadshow-cum-workshop aims to enhance the student’s awareness and knowledge on the topics and provide platform for the students to connect and network with the experts.
As I’m writing this, we have received over 120 film submissions from 35 over countries around the world, and is expected to increase in the month of June. This is very exciting and definitely going to be another round of tough selections in July.
One of the important components in KLEFF for many years is the Green Market. Good news everyone, we are opening the application for Green Market. This year it will be held for seven days (yes, you’re reading it right, SEVEN days) from 22-28 October 2018. If you have great green products, services or initiatives to market to the public, this is the opportunity! Oh and as you know, the space is limited, be quick!
Lastly, on behalf of the committee we wish everyone Ramadan Kareem, please do not waste food!
Our journey continues.
Yours Fabulously, FABS
